Chairs by Cooke - CSeries

Description

Fully adjustable chair with back height options. Synchonous adjustment for back and seat tilt. Concave armrests. Side lever for seat sliding adjustment. Firm but nice feel to the backrest. Available in regular and large sizes.

Seat Description

The seat is adjustable in height, depth, and backward tilt. Tilting is independent of backrest tilt by synchronous as well.

Backrest Description

Medium firmness but yet soft enough to be comfortable. The height adjustment lever is in an awkward place, the inside of the chair under the backrest.

Armrest Description

The armrests are scooped and the padding is firm. Options for height and width adjustability and pivoting. If planning to type while resting arms, pivoting option allows you to angle the armrests to be in line with your arms.

Unique Features

Synchronous tilting allows a relatively wide adjustment range between seat and back angle.

Comments

Easily adjustable chair when it comes to the seat angle, back angle, and arm height. Seat sliding is easy to find and operate. The weird thing is that it was the only adjustment labeled. Tension adjustment requires getting off the chair. It's possible that arm width adjustments would be hard to get to for people with a shorter reach. Tilt adjustment is synchronous, with the tension controlling the give. The nice thing is the synchro can be locked in a preferred position if desired. Arm pads are firm but not entirely rock hard, so not so uncomfortable. In locked position, backrest deflects a bit (can't decide if it's bad or good). With arm pad concavity, typing is a little uncomfortable when hands are converged because there is no pivoting mechanism. Several options such as independent lumbar support and break-away arms are available but were not evaluated. Overall though, a very nice chair.
