- The Laboratory Safety Manual, which covers general safety procedures for University laboratories
- A “Laboratory Safety Plan” prepared by the Principal Investigator to address hazards and precautions specific to a given laboratory
The “Laboratory Safety Plan”
- identifies the hazards in the laboratory
- describes specific handling procedures and precautions for special hazards
- outlines emergency safety procedures in the event of a fire or chemical spill
Employee Orientation
These safety courses are a requirement for all new employees. Upon completion of the appropriate course, you will have an understanding of University safety policies and procedures. Visit the Employee Orientation page. Once there, choose the work environment that best fits yours. Please remember to take the post-test afterwards.
Self-Study Trainings
