Required Training for All Lab Personnel

The Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) regulates chemical wastes in our laboratories and is enforced by the Environmental Protection Agency. Recently, they have updated chemical waste regulations and the University now falls under a special provision called subpart K. To remain compliant with the law, all lab personnel must be trained in Subpart K chemical waste handling and storage requirements. This required training is very short – 5 slides and a post-test.
