Hazards Management Plan
The Hazards Management Plan (HMP) is a written safety and environmental plan for a work unit. The HMP provides a framework for ensuring compliance with regulations pertaining to protection of personnel and the environment. The primary purposes of the HMP are:
- to provide safety information for employee in each work unit
- to provide documentation of compliance with occupational and environmental regulations
- to provide information to the Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) department for use in determining job specific training requirements.
