Fume Hood Safety
Welcome to UNC-Chapel Hill’s online Chemical Fume Hood Safety Training Course. This online training course will provide employees information on proper fume hood safety and operational measures that should be utilized to limit exposures. Chemical Fume Hood training is a one-time training that is required for all faculty, staff and students who work with fume hoods. At the conclusion is a short quiz to verify that you have completed the course and understand its contents. You must answer at least 70% of the questions correctly to receive credit for the course. If there is a problem with the course or quiz, or if you have any questions in regards to training or other safety questions, please call EHS at 919-962-5507.
After Completion: Remember that you must take and pass the post test in order to receive credit for this training. Onyen or PID required.
