Lead Renovation, Repair and Painting on the Job
This training provides employees with information concerning lead and lead-based paint (LBP) and how the Environmental Protection Agency’s Lead Renovation and Repair Program (RRP) operates on campus. The target audience includes employees who disturb known or presumed lead-based paint during renovation. These employees will recognize what lead-based paint is and where it is found, know examples of LBP on campus and understand when the Lead RRP rule applies on campus. The training also provides students useful resources such as the EPA’s “Seven Steps to Lead Safe Renovation, Repair and Painting” and the “Renovate Right” pamphlet.
