Biological Safety Level 2 for Laboratory Workers at UNC-Chapel Hill
This training is a one-time requirement designed to provide a foundation of understanding for workers at BSL-2 at UNC-Chapel Hill. This training is not a substitute for reviewing the Biological Hazards section of the Laboratory Safety Plan annually. Lab workers handling human source material (blood, cell lines, etc.) under the Bloodborne Pathogen Standard, must also complete the Lab Worker BBP training.
The training and post-test should take about 60 minutes to complete. It is University policy that your department allow you to set aside this time during normal work hours.
